Could Argentina’s Patagonia become a haven for data centres?

Around the world, citizens and lawmakers are increasingly pushing back against the construction of data centres, citing noise pollution, massive power consumption and general unsightliness. But Argentina's President Javier Milei wants more of them - and the government thinks it may have found an ideal location, in the vast open steppes of Patagonia.
