Sound waves could help stop schizophrenic delusions: NYU study

Scientists at NYU have conducted a successful experiment on 10 schizophrenic patients using sound waves directed into a tiny region deep inside the brain called the globus pallidus interna. The experiment resulted in a proven reduction of symptoms and causes new help for future treatments.
