Atlanta’s iconic tavern marks Georgia’s past with an eye on future as midterms approach

Since it was established in 1956, Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta has hosted legendary Democratic leaders while its founder played a key role in the city’s move from a Republican to Democratic stronghold.
