NYSE’s opening bell honors Italian Americans who beat stereotypes to reach pinnacle of finance

The NYSE held its first-ever Columbus Day tribute Monday with a reception featuring some of the great Italian-American financiers of my generation, who rang the iconic opening bell to commence the start of trading.
