Anna Soellner joined the chip giant around June, per her Linkedin profile, amid a period of explosive growth. During her brief tenure, the company announced a nearly $13 billion acquisition of Hugging Face and reported quarterly revenue of $96 billion. "I'm honored to help tell the story of one of the world's most consequential companies alongside an extraordinary communications and marketing team," Soellner wrote on LinkedIn when announcing her hiring. She was tapped to help oversee communications as Nvidia navigated heightened public scrutiny through the AI boom. She reported to Mylene Mangalindan, Nvidia's vice president of corporate communications, Axios reported in July. Before joining Nvidia, Soellner spent over eight years at Reddit as vice president of communications, helping lead communications strategy, including through its 2024 initial public offering. Before that, she held senior communications roles at the Motion Picture Association and the Center for American Progress, and served as a senior advisor at the US Treasury Department. Nvidia did not respond to Business Insider's request for comment. Have a tip? Contact this reporter via email at gweiss@businessinsider.com or Signal at @geoffweiss.25.
