Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is a major cause of liver-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. As the disease progresses, liver fibrosis and liver-related events (LREs), including hepatocellular carcinoma and other complications, become important indicators of clinical risk.
