Banana the Seahawks corgi was a diabolical legend
It brings my heart joy to see that goofy halftime show entertainment is alive and well. In Seattle we had the CORGI CUP more importantly Banana the Corgi, who is the evil genius of the world of corgi racing. Put the league on notice. Halftime MVP: BANANA 🐾 https://t.co/bTIl6nfVol pic.twitter.com/ioCs9OhVE0 — Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) October 4, 2026 Banana didn’t just obliterate the competition, but stunted on them while doing it. What makes the simple glance back so special is how much it channeled Luigi energy from Mario Kart to become the ultimate mockery. Dogs are capably of channeling so many different emotions, but I really didn’t know it was possible to see a dog flex on other dogs like this. Here’s what we need to do: All 32 teams need to have their version of the Corgi Cup at a halftime show during the season. These all need to be regional corgis, with no ringers allowed. Then, during the playoffs each team’s respective corgi champion should race as part of a halftime to ultimately crown a winner at halftime of the Super Bowl. We need a movement to make this idea a reality. I need to see Banana race more often, and this is the best way I can think of doing it.
