A county executive promising to settle school bathrooms statewide is auditioning for a job whose actual duties are somewhere else.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman vowed to ban transgender students from girls' school bathrooms and locker rooms statewide if he’s elected New York's governor in November.
