Study finds nearly fourfold increase in injuries from electric bikes and scooters in recent years

Electric bike and electric scooter injuries among children and teens increased nearly fourfold at one California hospital between 2019 and 2025, according to research to be presented during the American Academy of Pediatrics 2026 National Conference & Exhibition in San Diego.
