Micron Forecast Tops Estimates on Booming AI Memory Demand

Micron Technology Inc., the largest US maker of memory chips, gave a sales forecast for the current quarter that shattered estimates after the AI building frenzy fueled unprecedented demand. Revenue will be about $61.5 billion in the fiscal first quarter, which runs through November, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Analysts estimated $56.8 billion on average.
