How pneumonia can reveal undiagnosed blood cancer

Severe pneumococcal disease requiring hospitalization, most commonly pneumonia, can be a sign of previously undiagnosed blood cancer and immunodeficiency in adult patients, according to a study from the University of Gothenburg.
