Full-screen animated Mandelbrot fractals on the web

I remember waiting hours¹ for an AmigaBASIC mandlebrot set to render on my Commodore A500 in 1992 or so, its 7Mhz CPU tackling 64,000 pixels one by one until the amazing results were complete.
