Chargers’ Genesis Smith grabs interception of the year candidate against Josh Allen

One of the more bizarre developments in the early window of Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season is unfolding in Orchard Park, New York. The 2-0 Buffalo Bills currently trail the 0-2 Los Angeles Chargers 10-3 in the early going, and quarterback Josh Allen has thrown a pair of interceptions in the first half. Both of those have come from Genesis Smith, and the second of those might just be the interception of the year. With the Bills trailing 10-0 and facing a 2nd-and-6 situation in their own territory, Allen tries to go over the top of the Chargers secondary, on this post route to D.J. Moore. But the throw ends up in the hands of Smith, somehow: Genesis Smith with a crazy INT!
