IBD not linked to risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy overall

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is not associated with an increased risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy overall, but it is associated with an increased risk of preeclampsia, according to a study published in the September issue of the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
