Pezeshkian Says Iran Is Ready for Talks But Won't Accept US Threats

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says his country is ready to resume talks about ending the near seven-month conflict with the US but will not respond to threats. In an address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday, Pezeshkian also said the Islamic Republic won’t allow freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz while sanctions and a US blockade remain in place.
