Pentagon-Backed Elmet to Buy Stake in Vietnam Tungsten Producer

US tungsten maker The Elmet Group Co. will buy a 4.99% stake in Vietnam’s Masan High-Tech Materials Corp. and secure more than eight years supply of the metal, deepening US access to the critical mineral.
