The Créac'h Lighthouse in Ouessant, France

At 47 metres tall, with a range of 60 kilometres, the Créac'h Lighthouse is the most powerful lighthouse in Europe. Located on the island of Ouessant, it marks the entrance to the English Channel. The lighthouse is currently undergoing renovation, but it remains fully operational. At night, its lanterns illuminate the entire coastline of the island, accompanied by the sound of waves crashing against the rocks. Lie down near the lighthouse and take in the scenery to experience an eerie sense of serenity. If you come by bike at night, don't forget to bring a headlamp — there are no streetlights along the road leading to the lighthouse. If you come during the day, you can enjoy a landscape straight out of a dystopian movie, surrounded by numerous abandoned structures and old bunkers.
