Changes in oral anticoagulant and cardiovascular drug use with the progression of neurodegenerative disorders

Cardiovascular diseases are common among people living with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD). Understanding drug utilization patterns in these populations is important for ensuring safe and effective treatment, supporting clinical decision-making and improving the overall care of people living with AD and PD. However, little is known about how the use of oral anticoagulants and cardiovascular drugs changes during the progression of these disorders.
