German Workers Protest After VW Slashes Profit Outlook

Tens of thousands of workers across Germany plan to stage protests on Monday, seeking protection for jobs and factories. Employees at Volkswagen, which slashed its profit outlook late Friday, as well as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche and major suppliers, will take part in demonstrations at more than 280 events nationwide.
