Trump says US, Denmark reach deal to expand military presence in Greenland

US President Donald Trump said on Friday he had reached a deal with Denmark to expand the US military presence in Greenland, while respecting Danish and Greenlandic sovereignty. Denmark said the agreement would be signed next week during the UN General Assembly but still requires parliamentary approval.
