Americans’ Chores And Unpaid Household Labor Could Have $6 Trillion Collective Value, Report Finds

A new report from the Government Accountability Office found unpaid household labor was valued between $5.6 trillion and $6 trillion in 2024, or about 20% of the U.S.’ GDP.
