Nintendo Updates Zelda Timeline, Seemingly Confirming A Fan Theory

Links to the past. Nintendo has often stressed its desire to place gameplay above all else, including story. Yet with the company providing (and updating) an official Legend of Zelda timeline, fans have understandably become quite invested in the entire concept. Now, with the upcoming release of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, Nintendo has once again updated the timeline, seemingly confirming a fan theory in the process. To explain as simply as we can (and with lots of help from Zeltik's video above), there is a theory that there are 'two' Hyrules: one founded following the events of Skyward Sword, and another after the timeline's reunification and prior to the events of Breath of the Wild.
