BRICS leaders gather in India as wars and US tensions test unity

A summit billed as proving unity usually exists because someone already suspects there isn't any.

BRICS leaders are set to meet in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss trade, investment and global conflicts. Wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and rising US-China tensions testing the bloc’s unity and ambitions for a greater role in global affairs.
