FRANCE 24 report reveals Russia’s war on Ukraine’s books and cultural identity

In Ukraine, the war is not being fought solely on the battlefield. This summer, Russian strikes severely affected the publishing industry, destroying dozens of warehouses and logistics centres. Millions of books and textbooks have been lost. For many Ukrainians, these attacks are part of an effort to erase their linguistic and cultural identity, as FRANCE 24’s Yegor Terletzkyi and Emmanuelle Chaze report.
