Newcastle progress as Joe Willock strikes late to see off Millwall

Newcastle United did just enough to progress to the next round of the Carabao Cup against a spirited Millwall team that wasn’t so much down to the bare bones, as the bones beneath the bones. Joe Willock scored the only goal of this boisterous, fun, slightly vague early-season cup tie, finishing neatly on 81 minutes.
