Mistral AI Raises €3 Billion With Samsung Leading the Round

French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI is raising €3 billion ($3.49 billion) in a Series D funding round, with Samsung Electronics joining the round. Chief Executive Officer Arthur Mensch argues that the company is probably still undervalued and that macroeconomic reasons are starting to show that open source models will win.
