Israel intensifies South Lebanon strikes, killing 13 after weeks-long lull

Israel launched a wave of airstrikes across southern Lebanon, killing 13 people, including women and children, Lebanon’s health ministry said on Monday, marking an escalation after weeks of relative calm. Israel said it would continue targeting Iran-backed Hezbollah over alleged ceasefire violations. Hezbollah has not commented on the strikes.
