Bruce Davis, Longtime Chief Executive of Film Academy, Dies at 83

Davis served as the executive director of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1989 through 2011, and penned an authoritative history of the organization, 'The Academy and the Award,' which was published in 2022.
