Jared Kushner Defends Record Amid New Russia-Ukraine Talks

After being stalled for months, President Donald Trump is restarting peace talks with Russia and Ukraine, dispatching his envoys Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner to Kyiv to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Kushner and Witkoff say their goal is to arrange trilateral negotiations “very soon,” with Kushner adding “these things take time.” NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY.
