Brazilian Court Suspends Permits, Halts Sigma Lithium’s Mine

Brazil just reminded the electric car industry that lithium doesn't mine itself, permits or not.

A Brazilian court ordered the suspension of all environmental permits for Sigma Mineração SA, an operating subsidiary of Sigma Lithium Corp., and the complete halt of mining activities for the company’s Grota do Cirilo lithium project.
