Below are my overall PPR dynasty rankings as we head into the 2026 NFL season. If you are new to dynasty, I’ll give you some tips on draft strategy, but the main idea to wrap your brain around is think longterm, but don’t be content to just build for the future. You still need to compete each season and give yourself a chance to make a run for the championship. Don’t go wild drafting rookies. Sure, Jeremiyah Love is young and poised for a long, positive career, but he’s still unproven. Your imagination can push a rookie into the stratosphere. Let someone else reach for unproven guys. Trade your rookie picks. Expanding on my first point, people overvalue rookie upside. Let them pay you for the chance to roster unproven players while you go after young, ascending players already starting to prove themselves. Yes, wide receivers have longer careers on average, giving them more longterm value. But, stud running backs are rarer than stud receivers. I think that evens things out enough to not just go wide receiver as the tiebreaker. Like the NFL, ride your young stud running backs and then trade them away before they start their decline. We’re not looking to hold onto these guys for 10 years who get beat up constantly. It’s a tricky thing and you will likely give away some good stats, but on average, running backs just don’t last that long in the league. Don’t wait too long on quarterback. Sure, you don’t have to pick the top guys in the first couple rounds, but quarterbacks are scarcer in deep dynasty leagues. You’re not going to be able to pick up a strong streaming option, so you need a reliable, above-average fantasy quarterback plus backups. Like in the real NFL, you want young quarterbacks who have potential on your bench behind your stable starters. Draft rookie quarterbacks. Unless a quarterback has been hyped out of this world, rookie quarterbacks will often fall in rookie dynasty drafts. Most teams already have a starting QB and there are very few rookie signal callers who start putting up top fantasy points in year one. Don’t have a strict draft plan. You want value, value and more value. If that ends up being three receivers to start, so be it. We’re looking to build the best longterm team possible. It’s obvious, but we aren’t crafting a team to win just this season. Grab your guys. You’re going to have this team for a long while. If you feel strongly about a player, do what you have to get him. 2026 PPR Dynasty Rankings 2026 Fantasy Football Rankings powered by FantasyProsECR ™ – Expert Consensus Rankings
