Viking South positioned to support industrial renewal in the Humber, report says

A study published today by the Geological Society and led by the University of Aberdeen concludes that the Viking South gas field has the geological suitability, proven containment integrity and operational readiness needed to become one of the UK's most advanced and reliable offshore carbon dioxide (CO₂) storage sites.
