How HIV affects the eyes of aging adults

Older adults with well-controlled HIV may have a higher prevalence of certain eye conditions, particularly dry eye, compared with similar adults without HIV, according to a new study led by a University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Ophthalmology faculty member.
