India Raises Record $127 Billion in Forex Deposits From Diaspora

India garnered a record of about $127 billion in foreign-currency inflows from its 35-million-strong diaspora since June through a special dollar-swap window, giving policymakers a bigger cushion to support the rupee if external pressures intensify.
