I applaud the ambition in The Blood of Dawnwalker, but this open-world RPG features too much busywork and not a strong enough vampire fantasy to truly excel
The Blood of Dawnwalker doesn't excel at everything it hopes to achieve, with wonky combat, an open-world littered with repetitive tasks, and some underdeveloped mechanics, but the ambition, some cleverly connected choices, and highlights in key story moments are well worthy of praise.
