In a novel lawsuit the Supreme Court is considering in October, the city of Boulder, Colorado, is asking for damages from Exxon Mobil and Suncor Energy. Boulder seeks to hold energy companies accountable for the costs of adapting to a climate altered by fossil fuel emissions. NBC News' Lawrence Hurley reports.
