Schizophrenia and mood disorders show different innate immune signatures, analysis finds

A team involving researchers from Wroclaw Medical University analyzed studies of people with schizophrenia spectrum disorders and mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder. They found that the two groups showed distinct patterns of innate immune activity.
