Cameron Brink stands up for the trans community while calling Enes Kanter a ‘piece of s***’

Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks was asked about the culture war over trans athletes and the WNBA big didn’t hold back. The non-issue that began with Sophie Cunningham has unfortunately become a perpetual question for players around women’s basketball, especially as former NBA players-turned grifters like Enes Kanter and Royce White stoke the rhetoric by declaring for the WNBA Draft in 2027, with Kanter being kicked out of a Chicago Sky game over the weekend. I think what … I don’t even know what the f*** his name is, Enes Kanter, like he’s a stupid piece of s***.” Brink went on to say that she thinks most WNBA fans are tuned in for the right reasons, and that the entire trans issue when it comes to her sport is more about generating clickbait and social media likes, while targeting an already marginalized community is low. No lies were told. Brink scored 15 points and recorded 8 rebounds in a loss to the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night.
