Fyllingsdalstunnelen in Fyllingsdalen, Norway
Opened in 2023, this tunnel is 2.9 km long (about 1.8 miles). Very useful for pedestrians, bicyclists, various exercising in a city where it rains almost all year. Now also easily binding together two parts of the city that previously was parted by a mountain and took a long time to travel around. Nice resting area in the middle as the tunnel there has a hall. Very colourful light throughout the entire tunnel that change now and then as one passes through the tunnel. Separate lanes for pedestrians and bicyclists. The tunnel runs in parallel with the city tram with an access tunnel for safety between the two. High security precautions throughout the entire tunnel.
