Homeland Security releases statement after MLB coach and former player is detained by ICE ‘pending removal’

A SAN Diego Padres coach has been detained by ICE and is currently in custody. Padres minor league catching coordinator Oswaldo Pirela was detained at El Paso International Airport on Sunday.
