Up to half of life-threatening kidney disease cases may go undiagnosed

Half of kidney disease hides until it doesn't. The tests exist; the ordering apparently doesn't.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is currently ranked the ninth-leading cause of death globally. However, up to half of cases may remain undetected despite the availability of simple urine and blood tests.
