Xbox Game Pass Reveals Its Next Wave Of August 2026 Games

The second wave of games for Xbox Game Pass in August has been revealed, and this month, you can check out a few day-one releases amongst the releases. Several of these games will also be available through Game Pass Premium, as the library of that tier continues to expand. Vapor World: Over the Mind will be released through the Game Preview program, and it's described as a narrative-driven souls-like platformer focused on deflection combat. Blood Dungeon is a new 2D platformer from the creators of Nidhogg, while Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a big departure from the previous Plague Tale games.
